The Odd Couple (female version)
Comedy By Neil Simon
February 10-26

Fearful that the neurotic Florence Unger, fresh from being dumped by her husband, might attempt suicide, Olive Madison invites her to move in as her roommate. However, Olive and Florence have VERY different personalities. Where Olive is messy, untidy, and unconcerned about the state of her apartment, Florence is obsessively clean, tidy, and obsessed with hygiene. Olive’s easy-going outlook on life soon clashes with Florence’s highly-strung neurotic tendencies, testing their friendship to the limit. When Olive organizes a double-date with the Costazuela brothers, their differences come to a head and sparks fly.

He employs Hoke Coleburn, much to her chagrin. At first, Daisy refuses to rely on a black man to get her from one place to the next and Hoke spends two weeks sitting in the kitchen doing nothing. Gradually, however, Daisy’s prejudices are broken down and, against all odds, he becomes her best friend. Daisy teaches Hoke to read and write, while Hoke encourages Daisy to let go of her insecurities.

Boeing, Boeing
Comedy by Marc Camoletti
July 14-30

A hit comedy similar in vein to Shakespeare’s comedies of merry misadventures and mistaken identities, Boeing Boeing tells the exploits of French bachelor Bernard and his lovely female flight attendants. Three flight attendants, to be exact, from three different countries: and they all believe they’re engaged to Bernard! In the past, Bernard has been able to juggle these women due to his detailed timetable of his fiancés’ flight schedules. When the situation changes and all of the women end up at his apartment on the same day, Bernard (with help from his bewildered friend Robert) struggles to keep them from learning the truth. Will the lying lothario be able to keep up this charade, or will a disaster occur? As they say: all’s well that ends well!

While Paul is convalescing, Annie reads his latest book and becomes enraged when she discovers the author has killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain. Patron Review by Rusty Harding,, author, playwright, actor and long time patron of RTC
There are plays that are mysteries, there are plays that are thrillers, and then – like the one currently in production at Richardson Theatre Centre, Misery – there are plays that are downright creepy..I've never been a big Stephen King fan – although I do remember having trouble sleeping after reading Pet Sematary – and I never saw the film version of Misery with James Caan and Kathy Bates. But I can tell you, if it was anywhere near as riveting as RTC's presentation, the viewer got their money's worth. ... Be warned, however; this is not the usual fair for RTC. Adult language and situations are abundant, and I definitely don't recommend it for children ...
